Running back Jerick McKinnon set career highs in receiving yards (512) and touchdown catches (nine) last season with the Chiefs but he’s currently a free agent.

Although McKinnon has yet to sign with a team, he’s received at least one offer. However, it’s not from a team official.

Juan Thornhill, the former Chiefs safety who signed with the Browns last month, reached out to McKinnon on Twitter.

McKinnon wasn’t just looking for a place to sign. He’ll be 31 next month and is seeking a nice payday. That led to a fun exchange between Thornhill and McKinnon.

That invitation from Thornhill caught the eye of Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney, who made it clear he wants McKinnon back in Kansas City.

Chiefs fans certainly liked the sound of that and many replied to Toney on Twitter.
