Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones and former teammate Tyreek Hill engaged in some good-natured trash-talking last week, and soon they’ll be able to do it in person.

Jones, Hill and other NFL stars will take part in “The Catch,” which is described as a “saltwater fishing tournament.” It’ll take place Saturday in Miami Beach, and will air at noon on CBS (KCTV-5 in Kansas City).

The NFL players will pair with Sport Fishing Championship anglers in a catch-and-release event.

Also set to compete are Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II, Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown, Vikings running back Dalvin Cook and Patriots linebacker Matthew Judon.

Jones and Herbert will be captains of two teams of NFL stars and their professional fishing partners, per a news release.

That release said the event “will be broadcast live from four boats, four chase boats, helicopters and on-site from the Fontainebleau (in Miami Beach).”

Jones had this response to a fan who said Herbert would win the competition.
