For the first time since he professed his love for the way Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes plays football, actor Henry Winkler visited Kansas City.

Winkler, who currently stars in “Barry” and is known by many as the Fonz on “Happy Days,” was at the World of Wheels Autorama at the Kansas City Convention Center over the weekend.

One of his first orders of business was eating a brisket and burnt ends sandwich, because who wouldn’t, right?

Winkler met a number of Chiefs fans and he was clearly touched by their support.

Visitors to the Autorama who met Winkler shared photos and kind words about the actor.

Even after he left Kansas City, Winkler was glowing about how the visit went and the people he met.

One person that Winkler didn’t see in Kansas City: Mahomes. But perhaps Mahomes will take up Winkler on that offer of a meal at the actor’s home.
