For Pete's Sake

Pro Football Hall of Fame is displaying gear worn by Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and coach Andy Reid are already on track one day to be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Some of their clothes are already in Canton, Ohio.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame shared a photo of a new display celebrating the Chiefs’ 38-35 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII.

It includes Mahomes’ pants, hoodie and towel from the Super Bowl, along with the cap and jacket that Reid was wearing when he received a Gatorade shower after the game. For the record, the Gatorade color was purple, which was a long shot among the prop bets.

There doesn’t appear to be any purple residue on Reid’s red-and-yellow clothes, as this picture from the Hall of Fame shows.

Mahomes won his second MVP award in Super Bowl LVII and it was Reid’s second time winning the Lombardi Trophy.
