Before and after each Royals home game, there is a big spread of food for the players in the clubhouse.

Here is a tip for whoever sets up the meals: it may be time to cut back on the vegetables. Many Royals players, it seems, really don’t like their veggies.

We learned that after the Royals’ social-media team shared a video on its Instagram in which a number of players were asked what foods they hate.

Here’s how they answered, and one player said brownies are not his thing. Seriously.

First baseman Vinnie Pasquantino: Cauliflower

Catcher/outfielder MJ Melendez: Clam chowder soup

Pitcher Jonathan Heasley: Tomatoes

Pitcher Dylan Coleman: All vegetables

Pitcher Jose Cuas: Broccoli

Second baseman Michael Massey: Brussels sprouts

Right fielder Nate Eaton: Sushi

Third baseman Hunter Dozier: Vegetables

Infielder Nicky Lopez: Scallops

Pitcher Jackson Kowar: Brownies

Outfielder Kyle Isbel: Vegetables

Pitcher Scott Barlow: Broccoli

Pitcher Daniel Lynch: Mayonnaise

Shortstop Bobby Witt Jr.: Celery
