Chiefs players have thoughts on who Rihanna’s special guest will be at Super Bowl show
Chiefs safety Juan Thornhill is ready to go above and beyond at Super Bowl LVII, and it has more to do than just football.
Thornhill said if asked he absolutely would join Rihanna on stage for the halftime show at the Super Bowl.
That came up because Chiefs left tackle Orlando Brown shared interviews with his teammates before Monday’s Opening Day media session. The main topic was Rihanna and what songs she might sing and who may join her for the concert.
Receiver Skyy Moore said Drake would be on stage with Rihanna.
A$AP Rocky was the special guest of choice for guard Trey Smith, while Brandon Williams picked Jay-Z.
Receiver Ihmir Smith-Marsette thought Sean Paul would be a great pick.
“I mean it could be me. I would definitely set the show off,” Thornhill said in the video. “Just bring me out of the locker room at halftime and I could get the party started.”
Cornerback Trent McDuffie said his favorite Rihanna song is “Work.”
Long snapper James Winchester said he was more of a country music fan, but added he liked the Rihanna song “Umbrella.”
There were a couple other questions asked in the video, and it’s fun to see Brown interviewing his teammates.
