For Pete's Sake

Video shows what Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow said to each other after Sunday’s game

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes seemingly always makes a point of finding his counterpart following a game.

Sometimes that can take a while, such as after last year’s AFC Divisional Round win against the Buffalo Bills at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Mahomes quickly made his way from the celebratory pile in the end zone to midfield, where he sought out Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

Mahomes had a much easier time Sunday, as he needed only walk from the sideline following the Chiefs’ 23-20 win to talk with Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.

NFL Films was there and shared the conversation between the two star quarterbacks.

“Many more, dog, many more,” Mahomes told Burrow. “Hey, good job, bud. Hell of a game. You have a hell of a career, dog.”

Burrow responded: “You, too. Go win now.”

“Yes, sir,” Mahomes said, as he does intend to win Super Bowl LVII.

Here is the video.
