For Pete's Sake

This GEHA contest will allow a fan to be a drum leader at a Chiefs postseason game

There’s a chance the Chiefs will play just one playoff game at Arrowhead Stadium in the postseason because of the win-or-go-home format as well as the special rules for the AFC postseason.

The divisional playoff game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium will have a fan acting as the DiPardo Spirit Leader because of a contest being sponsored by GEHA. The grand prize in the contest is an opportunity to lead the drum ceremony at the Chiefs first home playoff game.

Whoever wins the grand prize also will receive the prize package given to five runner-ups: two Drum Deck tickets and a parking pass to the Chiefs’ first home playoff game.

How can a fan win the chance to bang the drum? Share a video or photo of your gameday traditions on Twitter, use the #GEHASweepstakes hashtag, and also tag and follow @GEHAField.

Here’s the thing: the contest ends at 11:59 on Monday night. That’s just hours away.

These are the rules from GEHA.

  • Entrants must be a legal resident of the United States (excluding New York, Alaska and Hawaii, along with anywhere the contest is prohibited by law)

  • Participants must be at least 18 years old at time of entry

  • One entry per person

Here are examples of what people have submitted for the contest.
