Funny video compilation shows NFL pundit predictions of a Patrick Mahomes regression
For many so-called experts, the Chiefs’ decision to trade wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins in March was seen as the beginning of the end of the Chiefs’ reign atop the AFC West.
ESPN’s Bart Scott and Stephen A. Smith, Fox Sports’ Skip Bayless and others thought the Chiefs and quarterback Patrick Mahomes would regress in the 2022 season.
Instead, the Chiefs finished with a 14-3 record and have the No. 1 seed heading into the playoffs. Mahomes threw for more than 5,000 yards and is likely to win his second MVP award.
It’s been a great season for the Chiefs.
Hard Rock Sportsbook compiled clips of many of those television pundits’ dire predictions for a video that is humorous, given how well Mahomes and the Chiefs have played. Mixed in the video are highlights from the season.
