Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes completes first career pass to ... Patrick Mahomes

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes seemingly does something amazing and/or unexpected every week, and that was the case again Sunday.

On the Chiefs’ first drive of their game against the Denver Broncos at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, Mahomes completed all six of his passes.

That included a pass from Mahomes to Mahomes, the first time that’s happened in the NFL.

The Chiefs had a second-down play at midfield and Mahomes’ pass was batted back to him, so he caught it and took off running. Mahomes picked up 6 yards on the play, which was his first career NFL reception.

Here is the crazy reception.

This is how the play looked in the official NFL gamebook.
