For Pete's Sake

Here’s a look at AFC West championship shirts and caps the Chiefs players received

The Chiefs wrapped up a seven-peat* on Sunday as they clinched the AFC West championship for the seventh consecutive year.

*Is that an actual term/word?

The Chiefs won the West with three games left in the regular season, and not many people thought it would be wrapped up before Christmas. Heck, more than a few pundits thought the Chiefs would go first to worst in the West this season.

AFC West teams spent handsomely this offseason in an attempt to knock the Chiefs from their perch.

Instead, the Chiefs are champions again. The team shared a look at the celebration in the locker room as they received special T-shirts and caps.

Here is more of coach Andy Reid’s message to the Chiefs in the locker room.

Backup quarterback Shane Buechele posted a photo on his Instagram account that offers a better look at the shirts and caps.
