The sequel to the “Black Panther” movie is officially in theaters everywhere on Friday, but Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes got an early look at the film.

Mahomes didn’t go alone.

Mahomes’ charity, 15 & the Mahomies, invited kids from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City for the advance showing of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.” The newest Marvel film is getting good reviews from movie goers and journalists, per Rotten Tomatoes.

The kids who went to the showing were thrilled when Mahomes joined them for the film and a photo, as a video and pictures show. They were tweeted by 15 & the Mahomies, which said the teens received “Mahomes x Black Panther gear” as well.

Here are the photos and video from before the showing.

“Wakanda Forever” stars Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o and Danai Gurira, along with Angela Bassett.
