The Royals have theme music for the playoffs.

That’s the hope of Tyler Keast, aka TK, wrote and performs the song, “Royal Blue.” Keast, 24, is a lifelong Royals fan who grew up in Osawatomie and lives in Kansas City.

“I recorded the song in my home studio and did all the mixing/mastering of the final product,” Keast said in an e-mail. “The composition was produced by a good friend of mine Tim Seymour.”

Here is a sampling of the lyrics:

“I’m yelling Kansas City! Can’t nobody stop us now! Can’t nobody stop us now!”

and

“If it’s the bottom of the ninth and we’re not scoring, No. 4 to the plate, Alex Gordon.”

“I’m a huge Royals fan,” Keast told Ink this summer. “I grew up watching them. There are a lot of Chiefs anthems out there but not Royals, so I wanted to make one. ... Bring all the fans together, and something great could happen.”
