St. Louis Cardinals players make a Starbucks run in uniform
When the talk of a downtown stadium for the Royals flares up again (and you know it will sometime), here is one of the benefits of having a ballpark within walking distance of restaurants.
You never know when a group of baseball players will show up at a coffeehouse — in uniform.
Case in point: Before the start of a doubleheader in Chicago on Tuesday, a bunch of Cardinals players went out for coffee in uniform.
Cardinals pitchers Mitch Harris, Marcus Hatley and Miguel Socolovich joined bullpen catcher Kleininger Teran on the trip.
Here is what Hatley tweeted:
