Lakers star LeBron James wowed by Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes’ wizardry on Sunday
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed 23 of 37 passes for 249 yards, three touchdowns and an interception on Sunday. His passer rating was 97.7.
Anyone who saw that statline would say Mahomes had a pretty good game in the Chiefs’ 41-31 win over the Buccaneers in Tampa, Florida.
But people watching the game know those numbers don’t tell the whole story. Mahomes had a number of incredible throws, including this 2-yard touchdown pass to running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire.
Lakers star LeBron James was among those who were wowed by Mahomes’ scramble, spin and flip pass for a touchdown.
James tweeted: “Patty Mahomes. So damn good!!” and included a magic wand emoji.
Later in the game, James again tweeted about the Chiefs when he wrote: “That play was INSANE!!! Wow”
