We’re nearly to the halfway point of the year and there already have been some classic games played.

Chiefs players are still being asked about their 42-36 overtime win over the Buffalo Bills in an AFC Divisional playoff game in January. The Chiefs trailed multiple times in the fourth quarter, including with 13 seconds left in regulation.

Heck, even Bills players are still asked about the game (to their chagrin).

In April, the Kansas men’s basketball team rallied from a 16-point deficit and beat North Carolina 72-69 in the national championship game.

Both of those epic victories have been nominated for an ESPY award. They’re up for the best game ESPY. Here are the others in the running:

  • UConn defeats NC State in double OT (Elite 8 NCAA Basketball)
  • Bryce Young rallies Alabama to beat Auburn in four OTs (NCAA Football Iron Bowl)

The ESPY Awards will air on July 20 at 7 p.m. ESPN said fan voting for all award categories is open at ESPYs.com through July 17.
