Some Kansas City Royals fans on social media have expressed their disappointment about the $20 charge for parking at the Truman Sports Complex.

Those complaints apparently have been heard by the team.

The Royals on Wednesday announced a special deal for select games through the end of July. To honor shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. becoming the third rookie in franchise history to hit 10 home runs and steal 10 bases in a season, the Royals will be selling $10 tickets and $10 parking for 10 games at Kauffman Stadium before Aug. 1.

That seems to be the first time the Royals have reduced the cost of parking for a game.

The sale runs through Sunday, and the $10 tickets in “select field plaza, outfield box and outfield plaza seats.” More information on the deal is available by searching the Royals’ website.
