For Pete's Sake

Dennis Quaid stars as Stan Kroenke in LA Rams’ Hollywood-style preview of NFL Draft

The Los Angeles Rams won’t be making their first pick in the 2022 NFL Draft until late in the third round on Friday.

Trading their first- and second-round picks helped the Rams win Super Bowl LVI in February. But it also means that although they have eight picks in all, LA won’t be selecting a player until the 104th pick.

While they won’t be on the clock until the Jets and Eagles have made five picks and the Chiefs and Jaguars have made four choices, the Rams already have made the best Hollywood-style movie trailer you’ll see this week.

It’s called “On The Clock: The House Always Wins,” and it stars actors Dennis Quaid (as owner Stan Kroenke), Scott Eastwood (as coach Sean McVay) and Josh Holloway (as general manager Les Snead). There also are some Rams players, and some Easter eggs are hidden within.

For example, defensive lineman Aaron Donald slips in the score of Super Bowl LVI and there’s a reference to running back Sony Michel.

This is well done and fun (be warned there is a curse word):
