For Pete's Sake

Chris Jones praises Tyreek Hill for his ‘unmatched’ contribution to the KC Chiefs

For one day at least, Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones once again teamed up with wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

Jones and Hill on Friday visited a car dealership in Jefferson City and signed autographs for Chiefs fans. Jones also spoke with KRCG-TV sports anchor Rod Smith.

Among the questions posed to Jones was about the support he and his teammates receive from Chiefs fans. Jones lavished praise on the fans.

“One thing about Chiefs Kingdom,” he said, “their support and their dedication to not only the sport, but to Kansas City and the Chiefs players is unmatched. To see all the Chiefs fans and love here is definitely an eye-opening experience for me.”

When asked about Hill being traded to the Miami Dolphins, Jones praised the receiver and said his absence will be felt in Kansas City.

“Not only getting out of the playoffs but getting over that hump of finally getting to the Super Bowl and then winning the Super Bowl (for the first time) in 50 years,” Jones said. “What that guy has done for this organization is unmatched. He’s going to be dearly missed by not only me but the whole organization.”

While Hill didn’t speak on camera, you can watch Jones’ comments here.
