For Pete's Sake

Tom Brady roasted for his ‘unfinished business’ comment while announcing his return

Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady’s list of accomplishments is second-to-none in NFL history.

Seven Super Bowl titles, three MVP awards, three-time All-Pro, 15-time Pro Bowler, the all-time leader in passing yards, passing touchdown, and, well, you get the picture.

Brady ended his retirement Sunday after two months with an announcement on Twitter.

He wrote: “These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG”

It was the last two words of that message that some found amusing. Unfinished business for Tom Brady? Really?

That didn’t go unnoticed by fans on Twitter, and many roasted Brady for saying there was more work to be done after all he’s accomplished. This is a sample of what was shared about Brady, who turns 45 in August.
