Look inside Chiefs assistant coach Matt Nagy’s Bears-themed home about to go on sale

Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Wednesday during an interview on SiriusXM that he wasn’t sure Matt Nagy would want to return to Kansas City as the team’s senior assistant/quarterbacks coach.

But Nagy, who was fired as the Bears head coach in January, likely jumped at the chance to work with quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Also: he probably didn’t want to stay at his home in Lake Bluff, Illinois.

There are a lot of reminders of the Bears in the house, which on Saturday was about to go on sale for a cool $6.2 million. But now the six-bedroom, six-bathroom house (with two half-baths) is listed as “temporarily off market.”

This could be because photos were shared of the inside of the house, which showed just how much Bears stuff is all around. There’s a custom Bears basketball court, a logo in a shower, orange lockers, a Khalil Mack image on a bedroom wall and more.

Here are some of the pictures people posted to social media.

Did you notice the framed jersey of former Chiefs quaterback Alex Smith in the rec room? This is an older photo, but here is the room with his old playsheets used as wallpaper.

If you’re a Bears fan with money to spare, wouldn’t this be the place to live?
