For Pete's Sake

Matthew Stafford threw a perfect no-look pass on Rams’ game-winning Super Bowl drive

On the Rams’ 79-yard touchdown drive that won Super Bowl LVI on Sunday, the longest play was a 22-yard pass from quarterback Matthew Stafford to wide receiver Cooper Kupp.

What apparently wasn’t noticed by the television broadcasters was the type of pass Stafford attempted.

Stafford completed a sweet no-look throw to Kupp that move the ball from the Bengals’ 46-yard line to the 22.

Others noticed that throw and shared various looks at the ridiculous pass.

Stafford threw that pass with 3 minutes to play in the game. If he’s off just a little, the pass could have been picked off and could have changed the outcome. Instead, Stafford threw a dime and the Rams won 23-20.
