Royals jokingly offered to lend a hand after Kansas City Chiefs ran out of fireworks
You’d have thought the Kansas City Chiefs would have learned their lesson by now.
For the second time in three seasons, the Chiefs shared a message on the Arrowhead Stadium video board announcing they had run out of fireworks to celebrate touchdowns. That’s what six touchdowns will do.
This also happened when the Chiefs beat the Texans 51-31 in an AFC Divisional playoff game following the 2019 season.
Still, this was a jarring sight for fans at the game.
Once again, the Chiefs’ neighbor at the Truman Sports Complex was ready to help. The Royals tweeted a video of their mascot, Sluggerrr, locating a box of cartoon-looking fireworks and giving them to the Chiefs’ mascot, KC Wolf.
I’m pretty sure this was used the last the Chiefs faced a fireworks shortage, but it’s cute.
