Listen: Radio call from wild final 20 seconds of KU basketball win over Iowa State

The final 20 seconds of Kansas’ 62-61 win Tuesday against Iowa State was basketball at its best.

Free flowing, no stoppages of play, clutch shots and a full house of fans loving it all.

The Jayhawks led 60-59 when the Cyclones’ Izaiah Brockington hit a tough jumper to give Iowa State the lead. Kansas inbounded the ball, and got it to Dajuan Harris Jr., who made a tough drive to the hoop and scored with 7.1 seconds left.

Back came Iowa State, which got the ball to Tyrese Hunter, whose three-pointer was off the mark and KU had survived.

That’s a lot to call in a short period of time, but KU radio announcer Brian Hanni nailed it. Here is his call:
