For Pete's Sake

Chiefs’ L’Jarius Sneed twice was penalized on questionable calls against the Bengals

The Bengals trailed for most of Sunday’s game against the Chiefs before taking their first lead in the fourth quarter.

Cincinnati drove 86 yards in eight plays and scored to take a 34-31 lead. The Bengals were helped by a pair of questionable penalties on Chiefs cornerback L’Jarius Sneed.

The first came on a third-and-3 play from the Bengals’ 21-yard line. Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow’s pass to Tee Higgins was off the mark, but Sneed was called for defensive pass interference.

Do you agree with the call? CBS Sports’ Tony Romo didn’t. Here are two looks at the penalty from Twitter user Sports 24/7:

Later in the drive, the Bengals ran a second-and-11 from the Chiefs’ 20-yard line. Ja’Marr Chase caught a 5-yard pass and was slammed to the ground by Sneed. The officials ruled it was a horse-collar tackle.

Do you agree with this one? Again, Romo didn’t.
