For Pete's Sake

Listen to Mitch Holthus’ call of Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce’s game-winning TD

When Keenan Allen hauled in an 8-yard touchdown pass from Justin Herbert, it appeared the Chargers had victory in hand Thursday night.

That touchdown gave LA a seven-point lead over the Chiefs with just 2 minutes, 19 seconds remaining in the game.

But quarterback Patrick Mahomes then moved the Chiefs 75 yards in 63 seconds and capped the drive with a 7-yard touchdown pass to tight end Travis Kelce.

After the Chiefs defense stopped the Chargers, the game went to overtime.

Once again, Mahomes and the Chiefs offense moved 75 yards and won the game 34-28 on Kelce’s 34-yard catch and run. Here is the call from Fox Sports’ Joe Buck:

Mitch Holthus, the radio voice of the Chiefs, was fired up and called it a “gutsy, gutsy, gutsy win in overtime.”

Just for fun, here is the Spanish-language call on Fox Deportes.
