It’s not a Christmas miracle, although some NFL pundits may think that’s the case.

After losing four of their first seven games to open the season, there was talk about how the Chiefs would miss the playoffs.

But two months later, the Chiefs have ascended to the top of the AFC.

With Thursday’s 34-28 overtime win over the Chargers, the Chiefs have a 10-4 record, and are a half-game ahead of the Patriots and Titans. Both teams play this weekend and would stay ahead of the Chiefs if they win.

The Titans, 9-4, hold a tiebreaker on Kansas City based on their win in October. New England, 9-4, has a better conference record and thus owns a tiebreaker on the Chiefs, too.

But do you think the Chiefs can continue their hot streak and eventually finish with the AFC’s best record? Vote in our poll and leave a comment.
