Had he been able to regain his balance before stepping out of bounds, there is a chance Bashaud Breeland could have been the 15th player in NFL history with a pick-six in a Super Bowl.

Alas, Breeland had to be content with the interception against 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and later receiving an expensive ring for helping the Chiefs win Super Bowl LIV.

Although Breeland now plays for the Vikings, he reminded the 49ers on Sunday about Super Bowl LIV. And Breeland didn’t have to say a word (although he probably did).

It’s unclear who Breeland was gesturing to during San Francisco’s 34-26 victory over Minnesota, but it’s clear what he meant by pointing at his ring finger.

Twitter user Chef Mikey shared video of the funny moment:

A number of current 49ers played in Super Bowl LIV, including Garoppolo, tight end George Kittle and wide receiver Deebo Samuel.

In addition to the interception, Breeland had a team-high seven tackles for the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIV.
