In what has become a camp tradition, Kansas City Chiefs fullback Anthony Sherman revealed the inspiration for his outfit this year came from his wife as he and other experienced players arrived at training camp for the Kansas City Chiefs at Missouri Western State University on Wednesday, July 25 2018, in St. Joseph, Montana.

Sunday’s contest against the Cowboys at Arrowhead Stadium will be the Chiefs’ “Salute to Service” game, and they have found perhaps the perfect former player to serve as the drum honoree.

Fullback Anthony Sherman, who retired after last season, will bang the drum instead of working with the Chiefs.

What makes Sherman the ideal fit to be drum leader before the Salute To Service game. Well, look back at his patriotic outfit at training camp in 2018.

As part of the “Salute To Service” game, the Chiefs have planned a pregame flyover of four A-10 Thunderbolts from Whiteman Air Force Base, the national anthem will be sung by U.S. Navy Master Sergeant Robert Carter and the Missouri National Guard will present the colors.

At halftime, 30 military members will take part in a reenlistment ceremony and country singer Casi Joy will perform “God Bless America.”

Fans who want a free COViD-19 vaccination or booster shot will have an opportunity before the game. The University of Kansas Health System will be set up at the Founder’s Club entrance on the north side of Arrowhead Stadium from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

All three vaccines will be available: Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson.
