Football is a violent sport, as we all know. But what happened during the Chiefs’ 41-14 win over the Raiders in Las Vegas was at a much different level.

That is to say, it was nowhere near to being vicious or brutal.

Late in the first half, the Chiefs faced third-and-5 from the Raiders’ 7-yard line when it happened. Chiefs center Creed Humphrey lifted his head before snapping the ball, and Raiders defensive tackle Solomon Thomas jumped.

Thomas’ helmet glanced off Humphrey’s, and the latter went down as if Solomon had delivered a huge hit. This was a funny moment from the game:

That play drew praise from one of the best centers of the 2000s: Olin Kreutz. He was an All-Pro while playing for the Chicago Bears from 1998-2010.

Kreutz tweeted: “Quiet please Genius at work.”
