Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes can go left, completes left-handed pass against Raiders

It’s been three years since Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed a left-handed pass during a “Monday Night Football” game against the Broncos.

With the Chiefs in prime time again in a “Sunday Night Football” contest, this time against the Raiders in Las Vegas, Mahomes once more showed off his left-handed accuracy.

On the first drive of Monday’s game, Mahomes was under pressure from the Raiders’ Quinton Jefferson when he wanted to throw a pass to running back Jerick McKinnon. One problem: Mahomes couldn’t throw the ball with his usual right hand because of Jefferson.

Mahomes instead threw a left-handed pass to McKinnon for a 6-yard gain. Unfortunately it wasn’t enough for a first down, but it was another nifty pass from Mahomes.
