No one would argue that it’s been a rough season for Chiefs safety Daniel Sorensen.

On the field, he’s allowed some big plays to opponents and he’s been the target of scorn from fans on social media.

During the “Monday Night Football” game against the New York Giants at Arrowhead Stadium, both things happened again.

The Giants faced a third-and-11 from their own 14-yard line in the first quarter when quarterback Daniel Jones threw a 50-yard bomb to John Ross. It was a double whammy for Sorensen, who was flagged for pass interference and watched Ross make the catch.

Fans and some NFL observers made critical comments about Sorensen, and that included one company.

Guy’s Snack Company, which is based in Kansas City, Kansas, took a shot at Sorensen.

But the company had nice things to say about running back Derrick Gore after his second-quarter touchdown for the Chiefs.
