Why couldn’t Pablo Sandoval have been this interested in Instagram during the World Series?

Sandoval, the Red Sox third baseman who was with the Giants last season, was suspended for a game when he admitted to using his Instragram account to like pictures during Boston’s game on Wednesday.

That’s Jared Carrabis, a blogger for Barstool Sports, and he tweeted that Pablo Sandoval had apparently liked a couple photos from his Instagram account during Wednesday night’s Red Sox game in Atlanta. Sandoval was the starting third baseman in the game, which the Red Sox lost 5-2.

The Boston Globe reported that Sandoval was suspended for Thursday’s game for violating the team’s social media rules.

Carrabis said that Sandoval’s Instagram account “liked” photos of a woman who goes by “diva_legacy.” The Globe reported that “Diva_legacy” is based in Atlanta, and Sandoval is one of the people she follows on Instagram.
