Bettor lost his mind after winning big on Patrick Mahomes’ TD run for Chiefs

In his career, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has thrown 85 touchdown passes and rushed for five more.

So, it would take some faith to bet on Mahomes’ first score in Monday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens to be on the ground. Instagram user Dan Robinson did just that and he was richly rewarded.

Bleacher Report shared a video of the score and Robinson’s reaction. He reportedly won $36,065.40 on a $1,163.40 wager:

That’s a drop in the bucket for the sportsbooks, but the Chiefs’ 34-20 win over the Ravens was a good game for bettors.

Yahoo Sports’ Frank Schwab reported the “Monday Night Football” game was terrible for the sportsbooks.

Schwab wrote: “Most of the bets on the side were on the Chiefs. It’s not often you can get Patrick Mahomes as a 3.5-point underdog. And bettors could not get enough of the over, pushing the line up to 55 before kickoff after opening at 52.5.

“The result was a great one for bettors. The Chiefs won outright, 34-20. And the total was a tough loss for BetMGM. It landed at 54, meaning all the early bets on the over hit, and any bet on under 54.5 or 55 was a winner as well.”
