For Pete's Sake

Chiefs’ Eric Fisher joked that he ‘totally blacked out’ on touchdown catch

This is something Chiefs fans couldn’t have imagined a week ago. Left tackle Eric Fisher now has a “scoring summary” entry on his Pro Football Reference page.

Thanks to his 2-yard touchdown reception during the Chiefs’ 34-20 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night, Fisher officially has scored six points in his eight-year NFL career.

Let’s take another look at the catch:

One has to wonder how Fisher was feeling after scoring his first professional touchdown, and NFL Films has the answer.

The Checkdown shared a video of Fisher joking with his teammates about the score.

“My life just flashed before my eyes,” Fisher said on the bench. “Dude, I blacked out, totally blacked out. Jesus took the wheel on that one.”

NFL Films always seems to capture great moments such as this one.
