ESPN announcer makes on-air apology to mother of Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes

This might be a “Monday Night Football” first.

During the Chiefs’ 34-20 win over the Baltimore Ravens, ESPN announcer Louis Riddick apologized to the mother of a player.

It seems Riddick kept referring to Chiefs quarterback Pat Mahomes, instead of his given name, Patrick Mahomes.

Guess what?
