Ravens coach mentions an Andy Reid foggy face shield could be Halloween trend in KC
A popular meme to come out of the Chiefs’ 34-20 win over the Houston Texans game on Thursday night involved coach Andy Reid.
Specifically, it was his face shield, which fogged up during the game.
Fans shared jokes about it, and it even caught the attention of Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh, who was on Reid’s coaching staff in Philadelphia.
Reid told reporters Friday he had a face shield in his office and was considering it as an option in games. Then came the Chiefs’ opener.
“I dismissed that after last night,” Harbaugh said, per ESPN.
However, Harbaugh’s wife, Ingrid, thinks Reid’s look could catch on in Kansas City. Well, for one night at least.
“My wife mentioned to me last night … Andy is one of my best friends, but she did mention to me last night that in the Kansas City area, there are going to be a lot of Halloween outfits with face shields and mustaches and foggy face shields,” Harbaugh said, per NBCSports.com.
That’s actually not a bad idea, right?
