For Pete's Sake

Clyde Edwards-Helaire’s mother was so very proud of her son’s first TD with Chiefs

When an athlete hits a home run, scores a touchdown or hits a three-pointer, it’s not just fans who cheer their accomplishment.

Family members also celebrate those big moments, no matter the player’s age.

That was the case with rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, who scored his first professional touchdown during the Chiefs’ 34-20 victory over the Houston Texans on Thursday night.

Edwards-Helaire’s mother, Tonge’ Helaire, tweeted her excitement at seeing her son’s big run:

Tonge’ also let everyone know Edwards-Helaire is her son:

That’s one proud mama.
