Chiefs fans revel in easy victory over the Texans in season opener

Stop if you’ve heard this before: the Texans took a lead into the second quarter of a game against the Chiefs only to get blown out.

It wasn’t quite as shocking as the AFC Divisional playoff game in January. But the Chiefs trailed 7-0 after the first quarter of Thursday night’s season opener but took over after that and won easily, 34-20.

At one point, the Chiefs had outscored Houston 82-14 over the two games.

Chiefs fans loved the start to the 2020 season, which has the unofficial motto of “Run It Back.” Here’s what they said about Thursday’s game:
