Texans’ Deshaun Watson took seat on Chiefs bench next to Patrick Mahomes during game

There was a moment of unity involving both teams before Thursday night’s Chiefs-Texans game at Arrowhead Stadium.

There was a shorter one during the second quarter. It was unplanned and involved just two players: Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Houston’s Deshaun Watson.

The Chiefs defense flushed Watson from the pocket and he was knocked out of bounds on the Kansas City sideline. Watson headed to the Chiefs bench and took a seat next to Mahomes.

It was a comical moment:
