Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes each release hype videos ahead of Thursday’s opener

This NFL offseason has been longer than usual.

Not necessarily in the number of days, but in the time between games. Usually, there are exhibition games in August, but those were wiped out because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

So in a sense, the Chiefs will be playing consecutive games. They played in the last game of the 2019 season: a 31-20 win over the 49ers in Super Bowl LIV and will take the field Thursday night in the 2020 season opener.

Ahead of the game against the Houston Texans, the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes both shared hype videos. If the cool, rainy days have dampened your excitement for football, these videos should get you ready.
