For Pete's Sake

Chiefs’ 321-pound lineman Laurent Duvernay-Tardif caught a fish bigger than himself

The Chiefs will have most of their starters back as they attempt to win a second straight Super Bowl title.

One of the Chiefs players who opted out of the 2020 NFL season is offensive lineman Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, who is working at a long-term care facility in his native Canada during the COVID-19 pandemic.

But it’s not all work for Duvernay-Tardif.

On Monday, Duvernay-Tardif posted a photo on Twitter after a fishing expedition. He caught a massive 500-pound bluefin tuna off the coast of Quebec, likely in the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Here is a photo of the fish, which is bigger than the 6-foot-5, 321-pound Duvernay-Tardif.

That is a really, really big fish.
