Company that made Chiefs’ Super Bowl rings offers ‘limited edition’ version for fans

It’s only 113 days until Christmas, so why not tell that special someone what you really want this year: a Chiefs Super Bowl ring.

The Chiefs players, coaches, executives and team employees received their Super Bowl LIV championship rings on Tuesday, and the company that made them is selling a version to fans.

Jostens is offering a “Limited Edition Ring” that it says “is the closest ring in design to the ring awarded to the team.” The company said only 142 of these special rings will be made in a nod to Arrowhead Stadium being the loudest venue in the world (142.2 decibels).

While the rings given to the Chiefs are 10.85 carats, those being sold to fans aren’t quite as lavish. But they are 10-karat white and yellow gold and “crafted with diamonds and created rubies.”

The rings available to fans have a similar design to the real ones with two Lombardi Trophys, the Arrowhead logo and the words “World Champions.”

The rings have the Super Bowl LIV logo and score of the game on one side and the other side has Arrowhead Stadium with flags that recognize the franchise’s two championships.

Inside of the rings is a number as part of the limited edition release. But it doesn’t have the scores of the playoff games like the real ones.

The price tag may cause sticker shock: $12,500. You can see the rings and/or order them here.
