Chiefs fans have mixed opinions about whether ‘Arrowhead Chop’ should remain

The Chiefs announced Thursday they will be banning fans from wearing headdresses into Arrowhead Stadium and will ask fans to remove any American Indian-themed face paint before going through security.

Additionally, the Chiefs said in a statement, “We are engaged in a thorough review process of the Arrowhead Chop and plan to have additional discussions in the future.”

The “Arrowhead Chop” remains a favorite activity among fans, who have been seen doing it at road games, including Super Bowl LIV.

On social media, fans shared their thoughts about the Arrowhead Chop and its future at Chiefs games. Many people want to keep the chop, but there were some who were fine if it went away.
