It’s been nearly seven months since Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna died in a helicopter crash, along with seven others, but he’s still on the minds of the Los Angeles Lakers.

“A day doesn’t go by when I don’t think about him,” Lakers star LeBron James said last month.

Nike is planning to release a “Black Mamba” jersey next week with both of the numbers Bryant wore with the Lakers. On the front is the No. 8 while the No. 24 is on the back. Next week is Aug. 24 (8/24), making it a perfect day for the jerseys to be sold.

James and his teammates may soon wear the uniforms as well.

Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times reported that “if the Lakers advance past the first round of playoffs over Portland, they plan to wear the Black Mamba jersey in honor of Kobe Bryant in following rounds.”

Nike describes the uniform this way: “Released in 2017 as a part of Nike’s ‘Lore Series,’ and co-designed by Kobe Bryant, the ‘Black Mamba’ inspired Lakers City Edition uniform makes it return. This instant classic features a snakeskin print on the exterior contrasted by its black interior, 16 stars on the side panels, iconic 3-D-style lettering with a drop shadow, and the scoop neck from LA’s Showtime era jerseys.”

Here is a look at the jersey:
