Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes featured in a new commercial for Adidas
Nearly everything about 2020 is different, even commercials for athletic apparel companies.
Nike released a spectacular ad that incorporates sports with the Black Lives Matter movement and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Adidas followed with a similar theme for its commercial, which features Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The commercial is less than a minute long, and Mahomes doesn’t come on until the final 10 seconds.
But his message is the last one viewers hear.
“We’re gonna be back, we’ll be playing sports, but at the same time we’re going to be taking action and we’re going to be making change in this world so that it’s a better place when we leave it,” Mahomes says.
