Orioles pitcher committed a comically awful balk on Thursday night
When watching a baseball game on television, it sometimes can be difficult to see when a pitcher commits a balk.
That wasn’t the case during the Orioles-Marlins game Thursday night.
Baltimore pitcher Wade LeBlanc appeared to have two thoughts cross his mind at one time: pitch the ball or whirl around to throw to second base in a pickoff attempt.
Instead did both and this happened:
“It’s just one of those embarrassing things that you look back on hopefully in 20 years and you can laugh at,” LeBlanc told the Baltimore Sun. “It’s frustrating tonight, though.”
