The Broncos online store removes caps that had the team’s name spelled wrong

There aren’t many Chiefs fans who would buy a Broncos hat, but one particular item would have been fun to own.

On Thursday, the Broncos website and the NFL Shop were offering a blue-and-orange cap with the letters D-E-N-V-E-R B-O-N-C-O-S on the back.

Yep, Boncos.

Not surprisingly, a screenshot of the caps was shared on social media:

Soon after photos of the Boncos hats went public, the caps were no longer made available for purchase. Instead they were “discontinued.”

Anyone who snagged a cap has a collector’s item.

For one person, the hats brought to mind a classic Snickers commercial featuring an unfortunate (and fictional) Chiefs employee:
