Mayor Quinton Lucas, former radio host Kevin Kietzman clash on Twitter
Kevin Kietzman, who was known for making comments that sometimes upset listeners, left the Kansas City airwaves last summer when he parted ways with WHB (810 AM).
But Kietzman got under the skin of someone on Monday: Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas.
Lucas on Monday said he regretted having his picture taken with seven women at Lake of the Ozarks. The photo was circulated on social media because neither Lucas nor the women were wearing a mask.
Because Lucas last month issued an order requiring masks to be worn to limit the spread of COVID-19, the mayor was criticized for not wearing a face covering.
Kietzman was among those who took aim at Lucas on Twitter:
That last comment drew a sharp response from Lucas, who noted Kietzman hasn’t taken a job since leaving WHB.
