DeAndre Hopkins mentions Chiefs’ win over Texans while congratulating Patrick Mahomes

It’s been 178 days since the Chiefs’ epic comeback/blowout victory against the Houston Texans in the AFC Divisional playoff game at Arrowhead Stadium.

Much has changed since the Chiefs rallied from a 24-0 deficit and beat the Texans 51-31. That includes Houston trading away one of its best players.

Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was sent to Arizona in March in a deal that upset Texans fans.

On Tuesday, Hopkins poked fun at his former team’s playoff loss while congratulating Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes on his 10-year extension that could be worth as much as $503 million.

Hopkins wrote: “24 reasons why Mahomes deserves that. 0 Doubts he will win more Super Bowls.”

That 24-0 is hard to miss in the tweet. And for Chiefs fans, it had to be kind of fun to see.
